State of Superteam Vietnam: October 2024
Superteam Vietnam is a community of founders, builders and creative artists in Vietnam. We focus on nurturing our talents by hosting workshops, providing 1-1 mentorships, and potentially helping connect projects to VCs. Our goal is to raise the quality of Vietnamese builders, specifically on Solana blockchain.
Highlights for the month of October:
Colosseum Radar Global Hackathon officially closed submissions with 131 submissions and $20,450 in side track prizes won by Vietnam builders!
Wormhole Sigma Sprint kicked off with ideation discussions and technical workshops running from HCMC to Hanoi
Solana Super Game Jam kicked off with a $50,000 prize pool and various other perks!
Danang heated up with Web3 Builders’ Summit 2024

Wormhole Sigma Sprint
The Sprint starting from mid-Oct has now come to finish. In just a few more days, we will know the victors from this hackathon!
Don’t be sad if you missed the chance to join. Wormhole is still opening their Grants Program on Superteam Earn, providing up to $10,000 per proposal.
Solana Super Game Jam Kickoff - HCMC
Our Game Jam Kickoff in HCMC was on FIRE! Studios and indie devs are ready to challenge this biggest gaming hackathon on Solana yet! So far we've seen:

Sandbox-style RPG

Weekly Solana BUIDL Station
BUIDL Station will take place every Saturday, allowing Builders to exchange ideas, share insights, and support project development. Two Dev Rel representatives from SuperteamVN will always be present at these Stations to address any builder inquiries.
This month, we focused in helping teams and individuals ideate and build for Wormhole Sigma Sprint.

What is Superteam?
Superteam is a network of operators, devs & grantees working on promising Solana projects.
Simply put, it is a gated Discord server for those who satisfy the membership criteria. There’s no treasury, take-rate/commissions, or token sale. From its inception, Superteam has chosen to be a collective of sovereigns over a sovereign collective. All members may participate as much or as little as they wish, including the core team. Any revenue generated is captured by the individual members or teams that self-organize and win a bounty, secure a grant or venture funding for their ideas. The community is the product. And members have exclusive access to the product.
Superteam is currently live in India, Vietnam, Turkey, Germany, Mexico, UK, UAE, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Balkan, Nigeria, Brazil.
