State of Superteam Vietnam: July 2024
Superteam Vietnam is a community of founders, builders and creative artists in Vietnam. We focus on nurturing our talents by hosting workshops, providing 1-1 mentorships, and potentially helping connect projects to VCs. Our goal is to raise the quality of Vietnamese builders, specifically on Solana blockchain.
Highlights for the month of July:
GDP growth has surged with $60,743 brought in by the SuperteamVN community.
2 projects from SuperteamVN won awards at Bonkathon: Paylana - $25k & Maneko - $10k.
7 Blinks Grant Winners with a total prize of $10k.
7 Contracts with a total value of over $12k.
14 Instagrants approved totaling $9,250.
IRL Watch Party and Solana Speedrun #3 took place in three cities: HCM, HN, DN.
The Solana Summer Fellowship attracted a lot of interest with 26 submissions, and the Vietnamese team earned over $10,000.
Solana Bootcamp #2: Fall 2024 has officially started accepting applications.

Talent Olympics
The Talent Olympics have officially concluded, with Vietnam finishing in the top 4 with 26 submissions and winning 51% of the prize pool.
Vietnamese teams earned 1 top spot, 1 second spot, and 4 challenge wins, securing a total prize of $10,100 (9 out of 33 prizes).

What is Superteam?
Superteam is a network of operators, devs & grantees working on promising Solana projects.
Simply put, it is a gated Discord server for those who satisfy the membership criteria. There’s no treasury, take-rate/commissions, or token sale. From its inception, Superteam has chosen to be a collective of sovereigns over a sovereign collective. All members may participate as much or as little as they wish, including the core team. Any revenue generated is captured by the individual members or teams that self-organize and win a bounty, secure a grant or venture funding for their ideas. The community is the product. And members have exclusive access to the product.
