State of Superteam Vietnam: July 2023
GDP: $86,150 | Superteam Vietnam is a community of builders and creative artists in Vietnam and all over the world. We currently have 103 official members including devs, designers, artists, marketers, gamers, VCs, and many more.
Highlights for the month of July (% indicate month over month growth)
One of our busiest months ever with 19 events including 2 hackathons and a builder space (5.6%)
GDP growth: $8,000 was added this month and much of it through bounty winners (10.2%)
Vietnam Creator DAO is incubating SKOOL and aid them in incorporating xNFT into their technology
Launched Solana Superteam Student Clubs to further engage with college students

Web3 Consumer Hack 04 - Viet My College
We’ve created a series of mini-hackathons with Solana ecosystem partner companies called Web3 Consumer Hacker. If you have a thriving developer community that can or wants to build on Solana and want to throw a hackathon with us, apply for a grant to work with us today here.
This month, we continued our Consumer Hack series with Viet My College.

Tech Wizards from Da Nang came up with the decentralized lending marketplace where individuals can unlock the value of their NFTs as collateral.
Web 3 Consumer Hack 06 - AWS x RKS
One of the most interesting Consumer Hack series we’ve had as it was a 3 way collaboration with one of Vietnam’s largest (over 2,000 engineers) and premier outsource software companies https://rikkeisoft.com/ and AWS. We focused on building AI concepts alongside our ecosystem partners Backpack, Shyft, Elusiv and CandyPay. The results were fantastic.

GM Vietnam and Builder Space
One of the biggest Ws this month for Superteam Vietnam is how we successfully orchestrated a full day of training / sharing Solana Superteam Vietnam for Saigon Builder Space, which took place before GM Vietnam. Over 19 Superteam members shared the stage over 7 hours to highlight the amazing things happening in the Solana community.
Vietnam Creator DAO - Solana Summer is Coming
In the second month of operation, VCD made more steps in bringing more NFT projects on board and helping establish Vietnam’s Solana NFT Community on the global market. The second project that VCD onboarded is SKOOL – an exciting scratching game with play, bet, and earn. Originally Sui-based, the project rebranded and moved to Solana in July, which also includes a NFT-gated verification dapp built under xNFT standard.
VCD also organized and participated in other major crypto events such as Web3 Creators' Dinner: NFT Night, Web3 Builders' Dinner in Da Nang, Launching VCD at Namfungible #11 and a Superteam Vietnam Pizza Fund. What is Superteam?
Superteam is a network of operators, devs & grantees working on promising Solana projects.
Simply put, it is a gated Discord server for those who satisfy the membership criteria. There’s no treasury, take-rate/commissions, or token sale. From its inception, Superteam has chosen to be a collective of sovereigns over a sovereign collective. All members may participate as much or as little as they wish, including the core team. Any revenue generated is captured by the individual members or teams that self-organize and win a bounty, secure a grant or venture funding for their ideas. The community is the product. And members have exclusive access to the product.
Superteam is currently live in India, Vietnam, Turkey, Germany, Mexico, UK & UAE.
