State of Superteam Vietnam: December 2023

Superteam Vietnam is a community of founders, builders and creative artists in Vietnam. We focus on nurturing our talents by hosting workshops, providing 1-1 mentorships, and potentially helping connect projects to VCs. Our goal is to raise the quality of Vietnamese builders, specifically on Solana blockchain.

Highlights for the month of December:

• Earn with SuperteamVN attracted 30 builders to come out on a Saturday and learn more about our Instagrant

• SuperteamVN hosted 2 Christmas dinners in Ho Chi Minh & Hanoi with more than 100 people attending

• GDP growth: $11,515 was added this month through Tuan Pham's prize from Solana's RPGF for maintaining Clockwork

In total, we've collectively contributed $190,115 to our GDP, with 180 events and 187 projects submitted to Grizzlython and Hyperdrive. Ho Chi Minh City Hacker House in total received 1300 sign ups and final number of 800 attendees. Read more in our post here.

What is Superteam?

Superteam is a network of operators, devs & grantees working on promising Solana projects.

Simply put, it is a gated Discord server for those who satisfy the membership criteria. There’s no treasury, take-rate/commissions, or token sale. From its inception, Superteam has chosen to be a collective of sovereigns over a sovereign collective. All members may participate as much or as little as they wish, including the core team. Any revenue generated is captured by the individual members or teams that self-organize and win a bounty, secure a grant or venture funding for their ideas. The community is the product. And members have exclusive access to the product.

Superteam is currently live in India, Vietnam, Turkey, Germany, Mexico, UK & UAE.
