State of Superteam Vietnam: April 2024
Superteam Vietnam is a community of founders, builders and creative artists in Vietnam. We focus on nurturing our talents by hosting workshops, providing 1-1 mentorships, and potentially helping connect projects to VCs. Our goal is to raise the quality of Vietnamese builders, specifically on Solana blockchain.
Highlights for the month of April:
GDP growth fueled by wins from Walless and Coral Tribe contracts, totaling over $15K.
"The More You Know" series spotlights 22 potential Solana projects in Vietnam.
Two teams secured victories in the Solana Renaissance Hackathon, backed by Superteam Vietnam.
Renaissance Vietnam Track successfully concluded, distributing over $11,000 prizes with 70+ project entries.
SuperteamVN hosted Solana Investor Night, connecting 19 projects with top Web3 VCs.
The select Solana Summer Bootcamp rolls out for 6 weeks, with only 20 spots for skilled contenders.

Solana Investor Night
19 projects are currently being developed on Solana in Vietnam, participating in 1:1 meetings with 16 active web3 venture capital firms. On average, each project will meet with 8 VCs, allocating 10 minutes per VC.

Solana BUIDL Station hàng tuần
BUIDL Station will take place every Saturday for Builders to exchange ideas, share, and support each other in project development. At the Station, there will be 2 Dev Rel from SuperteamVN attending to answer any queries. Moreover, the event has attracted many Builders through the sharing session by Mr. Khac Vy - Dev Rel @ SuperteamVN, on the topic of TOKEN EXTENSIONS - an upgrade to the SPL token standard with many new features.

Solana Mixer Event: SEA Blockchain Week @ Bangkok
Recently, the Solana Mixer event at the SEA Blockchain Week in Bangkok was a resounding success on April 25th! A big shout-out to our visionaries, @therealchaseeb, Head of Developer Ecosystem @ Solana, along with @SaigonButcher, SEA Regional Manager. The event was held at the HQ of Cleverse.

On the morning of April 5th, 2024, FPT Polytechnic Collge Hanoi organized the Demo And Pitching Day event, followed by an award ceremony for the teams that completed their projects and the Top 3 teams with outstanding results.

What is Superteam?
Superteam is a network of operators, devs & grantees working on promising Solana projects.
Simply put, it is a gated Discord server for those who satisfy the membership criteria. There’s no treasury, take-rate/commissions, or token sale. From its inception, Superteam has chosen to be a collective of sovereigns over a sovereign collective. All members may participate as much or as little as they wish, including the core team. Any revenue generated is captured by the individual members or teams that self-organize and win a bounty, secure a grant or venture funding for their ideas. The community is the product.
