State of Superteam Vietnam: November 2024
Superteam Vietnam is a thriving community of founders, builders, and creative artists focused on elevating Vietnamese talent in the Solana blockchain ecosystem. Through workshops, mentorships, and connections to venture capital, we aim to empower local builders to achieve excellence on the global stage.
Highlights for the month of November:
Solana Consumer Day concluded with 260+ builders gathering to define the future of consumer apps, incl. leaders from Nansen, Sky, Audius, Layer3, and Bonkbot!
Solana Super Game Jam hackathon started across Vietnam and Japan with 100+ projects eager to bring their games on-Solana
Web3 Builders’ Summit: Danang concluded with 100+ builders across the world coming to explore the Web3 space and its many upsides in Vietnam
Wormhole Sigma Sprint announced winners. Vietnam brought home 3 global wins and 5 local wins!
The Solana-focused AMA series with CoinW successfully concluded with an average of over 1,000 listeners per episode
12 new content grants approved with new creators joining Superteam Vietnam. Let’s welcome Puu, Fuzzie, Phuong Hoa to the house!
Key Metrics & Highlights of the Month
Solana Consumer Day
Solana Consumer Day was the first-ever ecosystem-led event that brought together over 260 builders and innovators to discuss the future of consumer apps on the Solana blockchain. Hosted by SuperteamVN and SEND, the event featured a diverse lineup of speakers from prominent projects like Nansen, Sky, Audius, Layer3, and Bonkbot.
Solana Super Game Jam
The Solana Super Game Jam is reaching its later half with over 100 projects eagerly learning to build their games on-Solana!
After the kick-off series across HCMC, Hanoi and Danang, various game builders from indie devs to studios gathered and explored Solana, with the help of OGs from Solana Foundation, Honeycomb Protocol, Sonic SVM, and more.
Workshops covering ideation, technical insights, and pitching strategies took place from Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) to Hanoi, fostering creativity and innovation for Web3 gaming projects.

Web3 Builders’ Summit: Danang
Renowned figures from the Vietnamese blockchain industry, including SuperteamVN & SEA Regional Lead Anh Tran, KyberNetwork CEO Vu Tran, KrystalDeFi cofounder & CEO Jarvis Nguyen, and others shared insights on Web3's future in Vietnam and Da Nang.
The summit's success, coupled with the national strategy's release, paints a clear picture: the Vietnamese government is embracing the potential of blockchain technology. This supportive stance bodes well for the future of blockchain development in Vietnam, and Da Nang is poised to be a major player in this exciting space.
Wormhole Sigma Sprint
The Wormhole Sigma Sprint Hackathon has concluded with outstanding success for Vietnam-based teams, winning accolades in both global and local tracks!
Solana AMA Series With CoinW
SuperteamVN and CoinW recently hosted a captivating 4-week X Spaces series focused on the Solana ecosystem. Each week, industry experts, developers, and project founders gathered to discuss a range of topics, from Solana's developer community and startup innovation to GameFi, NFTs, and the future of the platform.
Week 1: Startup Innovation: Showcasing promising GameFi and Web3 projects incubated by SuperteamVN and the potential of monetization through gaming and NFT trading on Solana.
Week 2: Building the Future: A deep dive into Solana's developer community and the role of DeFi and GameFi in the ecosystem.
Week 3: Empowering Developers: Discussing the tools, resources, and opportunities available to developers building on Solana, as well as real-world success stories.
Week 4: Scaling Up: Exploring the future of Solana, including upcoming upgrades and the potential impact of key developments.
Welcome New SuperteamVN Members
We're thrilled to announce the addition of three talented individuals to the Superteam Vietnam family: Puu, Fuzzie, and Phuong Hoa. These new members are not only passionate content creators but also dedicated students actively participating in our community.
Puu & Fuzzie: These dynamic duo have already made significant contributions to the community by translating the Wormhole 101 series, making it accessible to a wider audience.
Phuong Hoa: A skilled writer, Phuong Hoa has shared valuable insights into the exciting world of hackathons with her thread about the 48-hour journey and memorable prizes at Superteam Vietnam.

What is Superteam?
Superteam is a network of operators, devs & grantees working on promising Solana projects.
Simply put, it is a gated Discord server for those who satisfy the membership criteria. There’s no treasury, take-rate/commissions, or token sale. From its inception, Superteam has chosen to be a collective of sovereigns over a sovereign collective. All members may participate as much or as little as they wish, including the core team. Any revenue generated is captured by the individual members or teams that self-organize and win a bounty, secure a grant or venture funding for their ideas. The community is the product. And members have exclusive access to the product.
Superteam is currently live in India, Vietnam, Turkey, Germany, Mexico, UK, UAE, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Balkan, Nigeria, Brazil.
